Eye Day Clinic

Eye Day Clinic, founded and directed by Dr. G. Chronopoulos, is currently one of the most modern ophthalmic day surgery clinics in Greece and Europe. It is a benchmark, both in terms of technological equipment and provision of primary health care, and remains on top, by offering the best services in diagnosing and treating even the most complex ophthalmic problems.

Refractive Surgery

Laser for Myopia, Hyperopia and Astigmatism

All of the refractive operations for the correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism are extremely effective and painless as they are performed by using Femtosecond Laser, the most modern medical equipment without a lancet. The procedure only lasts for a few minutes, vision is restored quickly and the patient is able to enjoy an advanced quality of life without the use of glasses, within a very short period following the operation.

Cataract

Cataract is a haze of the natural lens of the eye, which eventually will affect us all. It used to be a main cause of blindness, but nowadays it can be cured by a simple procedure that only lasts for a few minutes and brings vision back to normal levels for all patients.

Keratoconus

Keratoconus is a non-inflammatory disorder of the cornea, which is characterized by the presence of a progressive deformation of its surface. The cornea gradually takes a conical shape (it expands by creating an extrusion), deforming the reflection formed in the fundus of the eye. This reflection cannot be corrected by glasses and can even lead to blindness.
